Cinnamon Rolls with a Hint of Pumpkin

Had to use the rest of the pumpkin, and use my new mixer! Another day baking. Well, most of those hours, the dough was left to rise, while I went off socialising. But it sounds like these cinnamon rolls are more delicious if I spent “all day” on them! But be assured, they’re pretty easy to make!

Preheat oven to 190 C, once dough has risen.

You’ll need:

2 1/4 teaspoons of dry active yeast
1/4 cup warm water (not hot or boiling)
3 cups plain flour
1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
1/2 cup semi skimmed milk
1/4 cup butter
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Cooking spray
3 Tbsp of granulated sugar
3 Tbsp of brown sugar
2 Tbsp of plain flour
2 tsp ground cinnamon
3 Tbsp chilled cut butter

Glaze:
3/4 cup sifted icing sugar
1.5 Tbsp hot water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
